On May 30, BAIC FOTON officially opened a new brand showroom in Yangon, Myanmar, and launched TM Series and Miler Series light commercial vehicles in the local market, further optimizing its localized layout in Southeast Asia. The opening ceremony was attended by China’s Commercial Counselor in Myanmar, former Myanmar Vice President, local government and enterprise representatives, as well as cooperative dealers, building a solid foundation for FOTON’s long-term development in Myanmar. Based on in-depth local market research, FOTON has optimized product configurations and supporting service systems in accordance with local logistics operation conditions and user demands.
Despite the challenging operating environment of Myanmar’s automotive industry, FOTON firmly invests in the local market in view of the long-term development potential of local logistics and transportation industries. The new Yangon showroom serves as a core regional hub responsible for vehicle sales, customer services and brand promotion activities. On June 2, XCMG Group officially signed a cooperation agreement with German ZF Group in Friedrichshafen to establish ZF (Xuzhou) Machinery Co., Ltd., which is settled in Xuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, marking the official implementation of in-depth strategic cooperation in the agricultural machinery field. Senior government and enterprise representatives from multiple countries and core management teams of both enterprises attended the signing ceremony, providing solid support for the steady progress of the joint venture project.
In response to the large-scale, intelligent and high-end upgrading trend of China’s agricultural machinery industry, the two parties integrate XCMG’s agricultural machinery industrial foundation and ZF’s world-leading core powershift transmission technology to customize localized solutions for China’s farmland operating conditions. On May 31, Liugong’s 2026 Global Customer Day grandly kicked off in Liuzhou, Guangxi. Coinciding with the 60th anniversary of Liugong’s loader development, the event gathered more than 1,200 industry guests and cooperative partners from over 50 countries worldwide. The 600,000th Liugong loader was officially delivered on site, witnessing the extraordinary leap-forward development of China’s loader industry from scratch and from follower to global leader in the past six decades.
During the event, Liugong launched a number of benchmark new products including the world’s largest 8250TE permanent magnet hybrid loader and DW165CE driverless electric wide-body mining truck, as well as an integrated zero-carbon smart mine solution. Adopting 5G, AI, Beidou intelligent management and control technologies and self-developed core components including Xuanjia batteries and electric drive axles, the solution builds an intelligent microgrid power supply platform, reducing mine power costs by over 40% and improving operating efficiency by more than 20%. More than 150 sets of complete equipment were exhibited, half of which are new energy products, fully covering the whole working procedures of modern green and intelligent mines.
On June 3, the 25th Shanghai International Power Equipment and Generator Set Exhibition officially opened. Cummins showcased six new products and systematic power supply solutions covering diesel, gas and methanol fuel routes, which are widely applicable to diverse scenarios such as industrial standby power supply, distributed energy and high-end computing power data centers.
