    Opening Note

China's heavy equipment makers did not concentrate their overseas moves on a single market or product line last week. An all-electric wide-body hauler was working a live basalt quarry in Homberg, Germany; integrated mining equipment filled a hall in Jakarta; smart mining solutions took the stage in Perth; and a new mining dump truck was unveiled in Belo Horizonte. Four exhibitions across Europe, Southeast Asia, Oceania and South America — and, on the same chain, the first KD-assembled electric heavy truck rolled off the line in Türkiye while the GALAXUS fleet set out on a nationwide real-road roadshow in Mexico. Exhibitions and deliveries, in other words, are now feeding one another rather than running in parallel.

This issue covers nine developments: two from the heavy-truck sector, four from construction machinery, and three deliveries and orders. Beyond the numbers, the change worth noting is one of rhythm. Exhibitions are turning from product showcases into on-site performance tests, and local assembly and local service networks are becoming a precondition for orders rather than a supporting act.

The GALAXUS fleet held a launch ceremony in Mexico City and started a nationwide real-road roadshow covering key commercial and logistics hubs including Mexico City and Querétaro. Professional test drives were staged at local CEDIS service centres for industry media, channel partners and end customers. Tested against Mexico's long-haul routes and complex road conditions, GALAXUS heavy trucks demonstrated their core strengths in energy efficiency, reliability and intelligent comfort — a close fit for what Latin American logistics operators need, and a further lift for Auman's brand influence and channel penetration in the region.

SANY Deepens Its Australian Intelligent Mining Push at the Perth Iron Ore Conference

The 2nd Asia-Pacific Iron Ore Supply-Demand & Investment Development Conference took place in Perth, Australia, from September 2 to 4. As the event's exclusive strategic partner, SANY Group attended with senior executives and presented integrated green and intelligent mining solutions aimed at the transformation and upgrading of Australia's mining industry.

    9.4-9.10(9).png

SANY set out an "ecosystem collaboration" approach to mining, combining intelligent equipment, new energy technology, digital management and full-lifecycle services to address three core industry challenges: cost, safety and carbon. Its hybrid mine haulage equipment delivers clear fuel savings, with several units set to enter the Pilbara. Across Asia-Pacific, SANY's large-scale deployment of autonomous mining trucks is a standout, and its unmanned operating mileage leads the industry. With an established equipment operation system and local service network in Australia, the company continues to root itself in the market and deepen strategic cooperation with leading Australian miners.

    Outlook & Observations

First, delivery is moving ahead of the sale. A KD plant rolling trucks off the line in Türkiye, machines built to order for individual outlets in France, vehicles specified to mine-site conditions in Africa — the unit of competition abroad is no longer a single machine but a package of equipment, production line and local service. Whoever can compress delivery and maintenance into the customer's own timetable is the one most likely to turn exhibition attention into repeat orders.

Second, charging and certification remain the two gates. XCMG's "electric equipment plus mobile energy storage" points straight at the practical limits of off-grid mine sites, while CE compliance and local customisation in Europe show that high-barrier markets do not open on price alone. From here, the economics of electric haul trucks and heavy trucks will be settled not by range figures but by energy and maintenance cost per tonne-kilometre.

Third, autonomous haulage is moving from demonstration to billable operation. SANY's unmanned operating mileage already leads the industry; if its hybrid and autonomous units in the Pilbara move into per-tonne or per-kilometre commercial contracts in the second half of 2026, the role of Chinese suppliers shifts from equipment vendor to haulage service provider.

    9.4-9.10(尾声).jpg

Measured against that, this week's multi-market moves are only the opening act. What decides the landscape is whether the intentions signed at these shows turn, in the next quarter, into line cycle times and the density of overseas service networks.
