From Jan 23 to 29, 2026, China's leading truck, construction machinery and engine brands continued to forge ahead in the global market, achieving new breakthroughs through core technological innovations, global strategic cooperation and scenario-adapted product upgrades, and further elevating the international voice of China's equipment manufacturing industry.
On Jan 28, SINOTRUK held the 2026 Special Purpose Vehicle Partner Conference in Suizhou, Hubei, the "Capital of China's Special Purpose Vehicles", attracting more than 700 partners, customers and media representatives from home and abroad. A number of cutting-edge special purpose vehicle products adapted to overseas operation scenarios were released at the conference, including the Shandeka G7M pure electric sanitation truck equipped with a self-developed high-power motor (rated power 340kW, peak power 490kW) and China's first HOWO light-duty truck-mounted crane with 7-ton 5-section boom (maximum boom length 14.8 meters), all of which have completed customized upgrades for roads and working conditions in different overseas regions. In 2026, with "collaborative globalization" as the core, SINOTRUK will build a full-lifecycle green intelligent ecosystem covering "purchase-use-management-maintenance-replacement", promote the implementation of China's special purpose vehicle solutions in more global markets, and at the same time deepen the industrial chain collaboration with overseas partners to realize a comprehensive upgrade from "product export" to "ecosystem globalization".
On Jan 23, SANY Marine held the 2026 Global Customer Summit and Smart Electric Product Launch Conference in Zhuhai, attracting more than 600 representatives from port and logistics enterprises in 27 countries and regions, including international logistics giants such as APMT, HPH and MSC, as well as domestic leading ports such as Shanghai Port and Ningbo-Zhoushan Port. At this conference, two integrated solutions for container handling and bulk material handling were launched, covering 11 categories of port machinery product lines such as quay cranes, yard cranes, reach stackers and ship unloaders. All products have realized full-process electrification and intellectualization, and their core performance is benchmarked against the world's top level.

At the 2nd Global Mining Electrification Technology Summit held in Kunshan, Tonly Heavy Industries shared its innovative practices in the integration of electrification and intellectualization of off-highway transport equipment, becoming a core leader in the global field of green mining transportation. With platform-based design as the core, Tonly Heavy Industries has built a diversified power product matrix covering pure electric, battery swap and hybrid power. Since the mass launch of its flagship product DT145 series in 2023, the cumulative sales volume has exceeded 1,200 units, making it the 90-ton off-highway transport equipment with the highest market share. One out of every two new energy wide-body dump trucks in the industry is produced by Tonly Heavy Industries.
In terms of intellectualization, its new energy off-highway transport equipment is standard equipped with a wire-controlled system and reserved unmanned driving interfaces, which can seamlessly connect with the world's mainstream intelligent dispatching and unmanned operation systems. At present, it has cooperated with a number of international unmanned driving technology enterprises, with a total of more than 2,000 unmanned driving vehicles deployed, and large-scale cluster application of more than 200 units has been realized in mining areas such as Xinjiang and Xizang. In terms of overseas layout, Tonly Heavy Industries has established in-depth cooperation with international giants such as Rio Tinto Group and Holcim Group. Its new energy products have successfully entered major international mining projects such as the Simandou Iron Mine and the Oyu Tolgoi Copper Mine in Mongolia, providing efficient and green transportation solutions for large-scale mining under different climates and extreme working conditions, and the order volume of overseas mining equipment is rising steadily.
On Jan 27, Aliko Dangote, President and CEO of Nigeria's Dangote Group (one of Africa's largest diversified industrial groups), led a delegation to visit XCMG Group. The two sides held in-depth discussions on equipment cooperation under Africa's sustainable development and energy transition strategy and reached extensive consensus. Yang Dongsheng, Chairman of XCMG Group, introduced the achievements of the enterprise's "Five-Transformation" strategic transformation and the experience of global layout. Dangote highly appreciated XCMG's intelligent manufacturing capacity, product reliability and full-lifecycle service system, and believed that XCMG equipment is the core support for promoting the industrial modernization of Africa.
Dangote Group's business covers more than ten African countries such as Nigeria, Ethiopia and Ghana. This cooperation will accelerate the localized application and service layout of XCMG's construction machinery and supporting transport equipment in Africa. The two sides will jointly create green equipment solutions adapted to African working conditions, covering core fields such as mining, infrastructure construction and logistics. On Jan 24, Yuchai Group held the 2026 Global Partners Conference in Yulin, Guangxi, and officially launched the world's first Flywheel Range Extender System (FRS), marking the commercial power system stepping from the "electrical splicing era" to the "physical coaxial integration era", which is a major technological breakthrough in the global new energy power field of commercial vehicles. Through the rigid coaxial design of the flywheel and the engine crankshaft, this technology realizes the native integration of the power source and the generator unit, and has three core advantages: an extremely simple structure with the core power unit maintenance-free for life, an ultimate efficiency with the diesel version having a maximum power generation efficiency of 4.8kWh/L and a comprehensive fuel saving rate of 50%, and a highly stable profit-making capacity with all-climate adaptability and the investment payback period shortened to less than one year in scenarios such as heavy-duty trucks and mining transportation.
Yuchai's FRS product line covers a power range of 15kW-600kW and is widely used in nine core fields such as long-distance logistics, mining, port machinery and large agricultural equipment. At present, its market share in the new energy loader market exceeds 96%, and it ranks among the world's leading in the fields of mining wide-body vehicles and large harvesting machinery. This technology has been matched with major domestic and foreign commercial vehicle and construction machinery brands such as FAW Jiefang, Dongfeng, XCMG, SANY and Caterpillar. A total of 32 new power system products were also released at the conference, including 8 full-category commercial vehicle power solutions (traditional/hybrid/pure electric) and 3 low-altitude power systems, further improving the global power product layout, and the overseas orders for power systems have increased significantly year-on-year.
At the 2026 Annual Working Conference, Shandong Heavy Industry Group officially designated power energy as its seventh core business segment. With Weichai Group as the core carrier, it has achieved a disruptive breakthrough in the field of high-end large-bore power generation engines, breaking the long-term monopoly pattern of international giants. In 2025, the cumulative global sales of Weichai's power generation products exceeded 100,000 units, ranking among the world's top three steadily. The products have been successfully applied in extreme working condition projects in Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia and other regions, performing excellently in environments such as -30℃ low temperature, high temperature and high humidity, and the proportion of overseas market is continuously rising.
